That my friends is an ever evolving answer. I have been, or done a number of different things in my short life. A Jack of many trades, perhaps master of none, save maybe one, or two. Of all the occupations I have endeavored in, I enjoyed most, grudgingly accepted some, but truly loved only one.
Driving, is the one thing I absolutely long to do for the rest if my life. Some may be surprised to know, I have a mistress, but suffice it to say… that is exactly what the open road is. Demanding of my time, attention, and spirit. For I suffer from an incurable illness, called wanderlust. Driving truck over the road serves to medicate, nourish, and assuage that particular ailment. There is one person though, out there in the real world. My soul mate, a love unknown for many a year, yet finally found. She is the one who sees my dreams through her own eyes, and supports me in ways I have never before experienced. I am truly the luckiest man in the world, thank you My Love.
I am but a Small Town Mountain Boy, often called a Dreamer, who enjoys a little hobby , genealogy, and at times likes to write about anything. Probably the one thing about me that stands out above all else is… my love of nature. I have a tendency to get a little spiritual, in a paganistic way, when I describe my adventures. That is simply the way I am, and probably always will be.
Besides all of that, I am a driver for John Christner Trucking. I drive a 75 foot long 80,000 pound rolling mass of metal, capable of causing unimaginable destruction, death, or worse… it demands my respect and full attention. I am good at what I do, and thoroughly enjoy it. The hum of tires on pavement and the growl of a powerful diesel engine is all the company I desire. OK so that’s really not true, I couldn’t survive without my audio books and satellite radio. Music is always good company, a companion for any mood.
